Costa del Sol
Stretching from Malaga to Gibraltar, the Costa del Sol

Torremolinos Transfer time
from Malaga airport: 15 mins.
Torremolinos is the biggest of the Costa del Sol resorts.
The 9km of beaches are more often than not packed with
groups of all nationalities making the most of the sun.

and more fun, making it a popular resort with groups
and young couples.
Mijas Transfer time: 20
mins
This 'pueblo' offers a taste of traditional Spain, with
white washed houses set in cobbled streets. The views
from Mijas are amongst the best on the coast. The village
can be toured on a traditional donkey ride, taking in
the numerous cultural buildings in the area.
Fuengirola Transfer time:
20 mins
Thanks to its privileged position, Fuengirola is commonly
known as the 'Heart of the Costa del Sol'. And what
a healthy heart it is. True to Andalucian tradition,
Fuengirola is a place of easy living; relax on tree-lined
promenades or along the long beautiful beach. When evening
comes, feast on gourmet delights in one the many restaurants
that line the streets before the atmosphere heats up
for a typical night of enjoyment and fun.
Marbella/Puerto Banus Transfer
time: 35 mins
The choice of the rich and famous, Marbella is one of
the most colourful and cosmopolitan resorts of the Costa
del Sol. With 28km of sandy beaches and two glittering
yacht marinas, it has a vast commercial centre and an
Andalucian town centre with attractive whitewashed houses
and tree-lined squares. Southern Spain's answer to St
Tropez. Puerto Banus is synonymous with wealth, fashion,
glamour and parties. The high life and nightlife are
characterised by rows of glistening luxury yachts, whilst
the port also boasts fine bars and restaurants.
Estepona Transfer time:
45 mins
Estepona enjoys that irresistible combination of sun,
sand and sea sports. Each awarded the Blue Flag, the
beaches are among the best in the province and an action-lovers
heaven: jet skiing, water skiing, parasailing and more
are on offer. Be sure to experience the chiringuito
(small open-air bars or beach restaurants). Here you
can sample a variety of Spanish seafood eaten with a
favourite local drink, tinto verano - red wine topped
up with lemonade.
