One of the delights of Almeria. Garrucha is a quaint unspoilt fishing village. You will find some of the best fish restaurants in the region of Almeria here. Local fishermen bring in there local catches by small fishing boat, and is not long before many different types of fish are on ice and are being cooked in the local restaurants.

Garrucha is located between Vera and Mojacar on the coast of Almeria. There are many sporting activities to be enjoyed in Garrucha, water skiing, wind surfing and jet ski biking to name just a few.

There is a local market each Friday between the hours of 9 am and 2 pm in the afternoon. You will find a bargain here and it is possible to haggle-negotiate with some of the local sellers.
